i don't know about you, but of all the '90s supers, Christy was always my favorite.
January for me has been about cultivating new habits (i'm studiously avoiding the 'r' word...) and keeping style matters simple.

one of these new habit-goals is working on better ways to deal with stress. so i started yoga again in earnest, and it's amazing how even half an hour a day makes such a big difference. i upgraded my cheap-o mat to a well-made investment one, and got an out-of-print copy of Living Yoga to read along as i get into my practice. beautiful, well-written, inspiring.

sartorially, let's be real: polar vortexes 1 and 2 have made it too damn cold for fashion. style-wise, i've been sticking to a monochrome palette in comfy, sporty silhouettes. new favorite purchase of the month:
- the classic grey sweatshirt, updated (i usually go with S, but went with the XS here - love the shrunken fit.)
P.S.: if you haven't seen the vintage documentary Catwalk, you should. Christy, Naomi, baby Kate and younger, more unfiltered versions of all the big designers are all there.
P.P.S: and because it's Friday, i bring you...the Carlton dance. you're welcome.
what do you do to relieve stress? any new inspirations / additions to your wardrobe lately?
